With a total investment of 1.8 billion Euros, C aimed to begin commercial production by the end of 2022. To meet this ambitious timeline, it was critical for C to build a highly efficient validation lab to ensure battery quality, accelerate time to market, and reduce production costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The C validation lab faced the challenge of validating their batteries for a wide range of local customers in Germany, including those in the EV, grid, and commercial application sectors. Each application had unique performance requirements, which necessitated a variety of test protocols and processes that differed from those used in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Working closely with C engineers, Soaring helped establish a highly flexible validation lab for C. Soaring adopted a modular approach to customize the testing solution, allowing C to quickly reconfigure the lab for different types of tests.
